Operations Supervisor – London / Bicester Village
Operations Supervisors provide an efficient and effective support service to the Operations Controller and Operations Manager. They ensure smooth running of the Security operation on a day-to-day basis.
As an Operations Supervisor you will perform at a higher level, executing operational duties with utmost professionalism. You will report directly to the Operations Manager/Director.
We are currently hiring for an Operations Supervisor role in London and Bicester Village, Oxfordshire.

What do we look for (required criteria)?
~ Frontline SIA trained and licensed
~ Experience in a Security environment
~ Hold a valid visa/right to work in the UK documentation
~ Have a 5 years’ checkable work history (in accordance to the British Standard 7858)
~ Good communication skills

What you will be doing on the job?
~ Always represent the company in the best possible way in terms of fast response, presentation, time keeping, posture and politeness
~ Swift response to all emails, text messages and phone calls whilst in charge of the Operations phone
~ Create and develop effective relationships with frontline staff and represent the company in front of the local community in the best possible manner
~ Support the Operations Manager in the recruiting process. Arrange interviews and select the right candidates for the available position
~ Inducting and training new recruits
~ Identify and negotiate continuous improvements with frontline staff and suppliers
~ Assist Operations and HR Departments with the appraisal process of frontline staff
~ Carry out site visits, site surveys, prepare assignment instructions and risk assessments as required
~ Draw to the attention of the Operations Manager security issues, incidents and exceptional matters as appropriate
~ Assist Operations Team with the collection of KPI results from clients (twice a year)
~ Send weekly reports to Operations Manager and Director as well as take part in all Operations Meetings
~ Ensure Security Folders from all sites are being used correctly and are up to date
~ Report all complaints to Operations Manager and Control Room and understand how to identify root cause and adequate corrective/preventive action
~ Ensure to be ready to cover any emergencies and unforeseen gaps
~ Be in charge of security team as a team leader on events and sample sales
~ Ensure that the appropriate level of training is provided for all Security Officers in order to meet the Company and Client requirements
~ Ensure that the Security Officers’ knowledge is tested several times per year
~ Build staff rota, approve and manage guards holidays and time off
~ Update all clients database with control room on a daily basis
~ Arrange emergency covers for sick calls and emergency bookings
