A flagship in Mayfair is a brand statement. It is also stock, a guest list, a crowd, and a conversation with the council. Security has to sit inside that, not on top of it.

The brief

Risk is not generic. It follows the street, the stock, the expected footfall, and whether there is a launch. We assess those before the doors open and set the officer numbers and the plan from that, not from a template.

Council and the building

A Mayfair opening has to meet local rules as well as the brand’s own standard. We talk to the local authority, write the risk assessment, and recommend measures that still look like the store.

Launch night

If there is a launch, we work with the organiser and the production team: who comes in, where the queue sits, which rooms stay closed, overnight cover on the stock before and after. VIP guests are covered by experienced officers, as the brief requires.

Opening day and after

On the day the floor has to feel open and still be controlled. After the party, the same standard stays on the rota. That is ordinary luxury retail security, which we already describe here.

We do not name stores or openings in this piece.
